50 Cent Speaks Out Following Allegations of Rape and Physical Abuse by Former Partner Daphne Joy

50 Cent has responded to ex Daphne Joy's accusations of rape and abuse during their custody battle for their son, Sire. He stated that he is taking legal action to protect his son. Daphne Joy's recent false accusations are in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. Keeping my son Sire safe is my main priority now.

50 Cent responded to Joy's accusations of abuse on Instagram. "You find everything funny until our safety is at risk, which is the case now. You're causing true havoc, frenzy, and chaos in people's lives," Joy wrote. "How would you feel if Sire's dad was unjustly arrested?" The musician has a son Marquise, 27, with ex Shaniqua Tompkins.

Despite living one mile away in New York for two years, he only saw his son 10 times, according to Joy. "I'm tired of pretending you deserve the image we present to our son. Let's now expose your true evil actions: raping and abusing me." You are no longer my oppressor. My God will handle you now. You have permanently damaged my hope for you as a father with false claims. You broke our hearts. Joy's statement follows media reports of 50 Cent seeking sole custody of their son due to Joy's alleged involvement in a sex trafficking lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Joy was accused of being a sex worker for Diddy in a lawsuit filed by music producer Lil Rod in February. Both Joy and Diddy deny the claims. "I'm deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones' lawsuit. The claim that I'm a sex worker is completely false and character assassination," Joy wrote on Instagram. "I am hiring an attorney to investigate legal action against Rodney and his lawyer."
