Sean "Diddy" Combs remains unfazed by Homeland Security's recent house raids. The 54-year-old was seen in high spirits at Miami's Pura Vida restaurant on Friday, March 29. "Here at Pura Vida, by my pad, ran into this guy," fitness coach Wes Watson said on his Instagram Story, waiting to order. "Miami's wild, like a movie." Watson filmed Diddy flashing an "L" sign and saying "Love! What's up?" They pretended to salute before Diddy left.
Watson found it a crazy coincidence to meet the music mogul. Watson saw Diddy and friends at a health-conscious restaurant while he was there to get espresso. Diddy and his 17-year-old daughters were previously seen at a Top Golf facility in Miami. Diddy flashed a peace sign, his first public appearance since Homeland Security raided his residences.
On March 25, law enforcement raided Diddy's properties in LA and Miami. The raids are linked to a federal sex trafficking investigation, according to Homeland Security. Diddy, absent during the raids, remains unarrested and uncharged as of now. His lawyer vehemently denies the allegations. "Mr. Combs' attorney Aaron Dyer condemned the excessive use of military force during the execution of search warrants yesterday." No excuse for excessive force and hostility shown by authorities.
Diddy's sons Justin, 30, and King, 25, were reportedly home in LA. TMZ reported Homeland Security detained them, but they're now released. Diddy shares kids with Kim Porter, Lisa Hylton, Sarah Chapman, and Dana Tran. Diddy previously adopted Quincy, Porter's son from a past relationship.
Homeland Security has not provided further details about his connection to their investigation, but his behavior has been in the news since late 2023. In Nov 2023, Cassie accused Diddy of sexual assault and repeated physical abuse over 10 years. Diddy denied, settled the case next day. Cassie's claims inspired others, including producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, to come forward with similar allegations.
In his February lawsuit, Jones accused Diddy of sexual harassment and bragging about hiring sex workers. Yung Miami, 50 Cent's ex Daphne Joy, and Diddy have all denied involvement in the suit. "Lil Rod's $30 million lawsuit is a shameless ploy for an undeserved payout," Diddy's lawyer Shawn Holley stated, dismissing his false claims as attention-seeking fiction." We have undeniable evidence his claims are false. We'll handle these outrageous allegations in court and take necessary action against the accusers.
