Sean "Diddy" Combs was sighted at a Miami airport shortly after Homeland Security conducted raids on two of his properties, reportedly as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. Video footage captured by TMZ shows Diddy and his entourage at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport around 3 p.m. PT on Monday, March 25, just hours after the raids occurred.
According to reports, Diddy and his team were stopped by Homeland Security while they were on a private jet at Miami International Airport. Meanwhile, earlier in the day, news emerged that Homeland Security, along with local law enforcement, had executed search warrants at Diddy's residences in Los Angeles and Miami.
Local news affiliate Fox 11 aired footage showing armed law enforcement agents in tactical gear patrolling Diddy's Beverly Hills home. However, it remains unclear whether Diddy was present at either property during the raids.
In response to inquiries, Homeland Security issued a statement confirming their involvement in the ongoing investigation. "Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York conducted law enforcement actions in collaboration with HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners," the statement read. "Further details will be provided as they become available."
The raids on Diddy's homes follow allegations made by his ex-girlfriend Cassie, accusing him of rape and repeated sexual abuse in a lawsuit. Cassie and Diddy reached a settlement shortly after the lawsuit surfaced. In the wake of the raids, Cassie's lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, issued a statement expressing support for law enforcement's efforts. "We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law," Wigdor stated. "Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct."
Since Cassie's lawsuit, several individuals have also come forward alleging sexual assault by Diddy. However, it remains unclear whether there is a direct link between these allegations and the raids on Diddy's properties. As of now, Diddy has not publicly commented on the raids.
