Kate Beckinsale Unveils Fresh Tattoo During Hospitalization, Marking Father's Anniversary

Kate Beckinsale recently unveiled a fresh tattoo, adding to her collection of body art. The 50-year-old actress took to social media over the weekend to showcase the new ink on her upper arm, featuring a bird and a personal message addressed to "My KB."

The tattoo was crafted by renowned West Hollywood artist Endry Stymest, although Stymest has yet to respond to media inquiries regarding the artwork.

While Beckinsale didn't delve into specifics about the tattoo in her Instagram Story post, she did share a poignant message about escaping to a "mythical land" where insensitive remarks about grief are not uttered.

This revelation followed an emotional tribute to her late father, Richard Beckinsale, whom she remembered with a heartfelt Instagram post featuring several nostalgic photos. Richard tragically passed away from a heart attack at the young age of 31 in 1979. Additionally, Beckinsale recently mourned the loss of her stepfather, Roy Battersby, who passed away at the age of 87 on January 10.

It remains uncertain whether the snapshot of Beckinsale's new tattoo was taken during her hospitalization. The actress disclosed her hospital admission in a previous Instagram post celebrating U.K. Mother's Day and her mother Judy's belated birthday on March 11, although she has yet to disclose the reason for her medical treatment.
