Lady Gaga Teases Upcoming Music for This Year During 38th Birthday Celebration

Lady Gaga teased new music and celebrated her 38th birthday, sharing a selfie on Instagram to thank fans for their birthday wishes. In a caption beside a photo of her with platinum blonde hair and bleached eyelashes, she hinted at new solo music coming out this year. 

"Today has been amazing," she said. I am extremely happy on my birthday. I love my best friend, my family and friends are loving, kind, and healthy. I'm overflowing with gratitude for my health and music. Writing my best music in years.

"Thank you for loving me and my songs," she said. I've written pop songs since I was little. Can't believe I still do what I love. This year is important for us. Music changes lives. I'm honored to be a part of that in this life.

Gaga's last solo release was Chromatica in 2020, followed by her album, Love for Sale, with Tony Bennett in 2021. Lady Gaga hinted at her seventh solo album in January with Instagram photos of her in a recording studio, donning a sweater dress, lace-up chunky heels, and black sunglasses.

She posted pictures with a black heart and music note emoji, causing excitement among fans for new music. When Beyoncé released “Texas Hold `Em” and “16 Carriages” during Super Bowl LVIII, fans noticed similarities to her previous video for "Telephone".

Gaga entered prison in the "Telephone" video on February 11, coinciding with Beyoncé's album announcement. However, Gaga did not collaborate on Beyoncé's new album Cowboy Carter, released on March 29, despite the involvement of other stars like Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus.
