Chelsea Lazkani briefly discussed her chaotic post-split life while filming a cooking video. The Selling Sunset star, 31, who is currently going through a divorce from her husband of seven years, Jeff Lazkani, starts the video by stating that her donut recipe is "super easy" to make, unlike her current messy life. Chelsea filed for divorce from Jeff on March 27, as confirmed by media.
In a April 5 clip, Chelsea, wearing an off-the-shoulder pink top and a short hairdo, talked about adding honey for extra sweetness, saying "what won't kill you makes you stronger." Chelsea said she only wants junk food and planned to spend the day in bed watching The First Wives Club, but remembered she's a bad bitch and is making jam donuts instead. She later admitted that she's glad she didn't stay in bed because escape is never peace, embracing it is. Chelsea took a bite of her sugar-coated donut.
Last month, she filed for divorce without stating a reason, but requested joint physical and legal custody of their children, Maddox (5) and Melia (3). She also requested spousal support but didn't ask the court to terminate Jeff's ability to ask for alimony. Jeff filed for divorce on April 2, citing irreconcilable differences and accusing Chelsea of suspicious behavior. The businessman alleged that his "personal belongings" vanished or were taken from their California home after Chelsea filed. He further stated that she aggressively hit him in the face, breaking his glasses and causing a small cut. Chelsea has not responded to the accusations. Jeff believes it is best for their children if he and Chelsea live separately. He wants sole ownership of their five-bedroom home, which he has owned since 2018.
Chelsea has shared her feelings about their breakup on Instagram. On April 4th, the Netflix star asked followers to share funny or embarrassing stories with her on Instagram Stories. I want to laugh at others, not myself, but I've been trying for two days. Now I'm going to cry. Londoner Chelsea met Jeff on Tinder while visiting the U.S. In 2015, she decided to stay in Los Angeles when they started dating. They got married two years later and showcased their relationship on Selling Sunset, with Chelsea joining in season 5. Some stars of the real estate series, including Chrishell Stause and Christine Quinn, have had their marriages end since the show's debut in March 2019. Quinn is currently going through a messy divorce from her husband of two years, Christian Richard.
