Dak Prescott Avoids $100M Lawsuit Filed by Alleged 'Extortionist'

A lawsuit alleging sexual assault against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was dismissed in Dallas County. The woman claimed that Prescott sexually assaulted her in 2017, shortly after the end of his rookie season. The plaintiff's case was dismissed, but her attorney, Yoel Zehaie, plans to re-file the suit in Collin County. Prescott initially responded to the claims, stating that the woman was attempting to extort him by demanding $100 million and threatening to press criminal charges. The 30-year-old Dallas player sued the woman for $1 million for her 'extortion' attempt. The plaintiff's attorney filed a "non-suit without prejudice" request, allowing the plaintiff to give up her case and re-file in a different county. Prescott's attorney, Levi McCathern, reiterated Prescott's innocence, stating that the allegations are false and that the truth will prevail.
