Jackie Chan Provides Health Status Update Following Fan Worries: 'No Need for Concern'

Jackie Chan, celebrating his 70th birthday, reassured fans about his health with an Instagram post. Concerns were raised after recent photos circulated online, prompting Chan to address the issue.

Just a heads up, I'm playing a character with white hair, a white beard, and an old appearance in my new movie. No need to worry! Chan's hair turned gray for a project he did not reveal, but he will be returning as Mr. Han in the upcoming Karate Kid movie in December. Reports suggest Rush Hour 4 movie might be in the works.

Chan, with over six decades in the industry, remains enthusiastic about exploring new and familiar characters onscreen. "I've always embraced new challenges in my acting career, whether it's daring stunts or transformative character roles," said the Who Am I? actor. "With 62 years in the industry, I treasure every moment as I'm fortunate to continue filming today."

Chan recently celebrated a milestone birthday with gratitude for still having the chance to act. "After the shock, the next thing that comes to mind is a saying by my big brother, Sammo Hung: 'Growing old is fortunate,'" Chan said. "Especially for stunt people, we may not realize how lucky we are to age."

Chan and his staff found memorable photos from his career on his birthday. Looking at the images brought back fond memories for the People's Choice Awards winner, who wished his followers "good health, good luck, and a prosperous 2024" during the Chinese New Year in February. "I love making movies and love you all! Thank you for the birthday wishes." Hope all are healthy and happy!"
