Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello's divorce is finalized. According to court papers, a judge signed off on it on April 4. Vergara and Manganiello settle divorce, keep assets and cover attorney`s fees as per prenuptial agreement. According to TMZ documents on Feb 9, the ex-couple waived alimony and will keep their individual assets from their 7-year relationship.
Manganiello and Vergara, married in Nov 2015, announced their separation in July 2023. "We have decided to divorce. We kindly request privacy as we go through this new phase." Manganiello filed for divorce from Vergara on July 19, 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences," per court documents. They separated on July 2, 2023.
In August 2023, Vergara requested court enforcement of the prenuptial agreement and to retain ownership of assets, including artwork, jewelry, and personal effects. She openly discussed her divorce during a press tour for the Netflix miniseries Griselda. During an interview, she acknowledged expecting questions about her breakup from Manganiello, accepting it as a normal part of being a celebrity. "I knew it'd happen. You can't hide those things."
She said she was surprised by the respectful coverage her uncoupling received, adding that it wasn't bad. I think the press was respectful and nice. They just said what it was and that was it. Since the breakup, they both moved on romantically.
Manganiello is currently dating Caitlin O`Connor, and a source revealed in December 2023 that they have a great partnership due to their easygoing nature. As for Vergara, another source shared that she had remarkable chemistry with Justin Saliman when they were seen together in November 2023.
