Mel B Opens Up About Developing Feelings for Ex-Girlfriend Christine Crokos, Choosing Not to Define Her Sexual Orientation

Mel B
, a member of the Spice Girls, has opened up about her romantic past, specifically her relationship with ex-girlfriend Christine Crokos. The couple began dating shortly after Mel B's divorce from her first husband, Jimmy Gulzar, in 2000. They split in 2006. Mel B then began dating actor Eddie Murphy, with whom she shares her youngest daughter, Angel. She married her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte in 2007 before calling it quits 10 years later.

In an interview with Attitude magazine, Mel B revealed that she was open about her sexual journey and that she always thought women were beautiful. She has since found new love with her fiancé, Rory McPhee, who proposed after three years of dating in October 2022. Mel B has been given a few dates but none have been confirmed yet.

Mel B has previously accused Belafonte of being physically and emotionally abusive during their marriage, which he has denied. However, she believes that Rory is a family friend, making her feel safe and real again. She called McPhee the "best thing that's happened to me," stating that the hairdresser made her believe in love and trust again.

Mel B accompanied McPhee to Beckham's 50th birthday party in London on Saturday, April 20, where she performed the group's hit song "Stop" in an impromptu performance. Victoria's husband, David Beckham, captioned footage of the surprise song via Instagram.
